I am trying to find a company with a sound knowledge of the Human Rights Act who could deliver introductory training sessions for public sector staff. Can anyone provide contact details for such a company?

We have just completed 4 half-day sessions in-house. The training was delivered by Bernadette Livesey of Walker Morris Solicitors.
Bernadette worked in the Public Sector for a number of years and has specialised in the HR Act. She can be contacted as follows:

I believe the Law Society holds training sessions on this subject.
Human Rights Act Training for Police
All Police Forces are currently embarking on, or are about to embark, on a rigorous process of training in respect of the HRA. As there is a great deal of emphasis being placed upon public sector bodies to work in partnership with each other the forthcoming Act offers a great deal of opportunity. I would suggest that you contact the Head of Training for you local Constabulary or email me with further information as to your requirements and I will try to help further.

I work for Shaw Trust, a charity working in the field of disability. HRA available on CD Rom
I work with a company called The Learning Connection. We have recently completed the computer based training CD ROM that will be used by all Police Forces in England to train officers. The product was recently presented and launched to the Home Secretary.
