(1) collect the information (I will be doing on site visits)

    As a starting point search on Training Needs Analysis in the top right search box. This will list various features and articles that have been written on this subject.
    Also if you look in the library section and do a keyword search on Training Needs Analysis you will get a list of useful resources you can purchase that will help you with this project.
