IITT alliance with Nivo International set to increase training standards

default-16x9

The Institute of IT Training IITT have established an alliance with Nivo International who are Microsoft's worldwide providers of the Microsoft Office User (MOUS) certification programme.

Nivo have appointed the IITT as the recommended supplier of the trainer training for MOUS Authorised Instructors certificate, this means that all 1,000 MOUS Authorised training centres in the UK will be recommending the Institute's TAP (Trainer Activity Profile) as the preferred requirement for the training skills part of becoming an MOUS Authorised Instructor (AI).

The IITT have in the last 18 months established TAP as the primary model for trainer certification and have now achieved over 2,000 IT trainers as TAP-certified. By combining this qualification with the MOUS Authorised Instructor programme will ensure that all trainers of the MOUS certification programme will be of the highest quality.
By linking both these qualifications is a move towards providing the IT training industry with meaningful benchmarks in terms of qualifications which have not previously been as clearly defined.

In order to become an Authorised Instructor, a minimum of two expert-level MOUS certification exams are needed, also a Microsoft recognised instructor certificate and to submit a course outline for each Microsoft Office application that they plan to deliver training in.
