The Inland Revenue (IR) yesterday published a list of PAYE software suppliers who have passed the Electronic Exchange Certification Scheme.
The Electronic Exchange Certification Scheme is an IR scheme to support software suppliers whose products include electronic interfaces with the IR for sending and receiving PAYE forms and returns by electronic data interface (EDI).
The list includes suppliers of payroll and pensions products and EDI software.
The list is likely to be useful to employers who are looking for a software product to meet business, payroll and pension administration requirements which have been approved by the IR for PAYE EDI purposes. It is also notable for the absence of the major players in payroll software systems in the UK.
