Does anyone know how I can find an Instructional Designer/ Course Writer. Do they have a professional association with a memebrship list? Has anyone recruited/worked with an ID recently? Do they tend to work free-lance?

I am a Training Consultant/Instructional Designer
If you require any information with regard to ID, TNA, Requirement Capture etc.,drop me an e-mial. I may be able to help you. I don’t know of any professinal bodies for this activity. I have worked freelance in the past and can also advise on fees for ID/course writing.

I can certainly help here. I am an Instructional Designer with experience of designing effective classroom and computer based training courses for large corporates and government clients, such as the Royal Navy and Royal Armoured Corps. As well as people like B & Q, Swiss Bank Corporation etc. On top of this, I am a trainer for those who want to learn these skills.
