It would be interesting to know how often the trainees performed the task they were trained on.
I wouldn't have expected the drop off in skill/knowledge to have been so similar between the different styles of training. If the trainees don't perform the task very often, perhaps that is a factor. If they perform it regularly, I would have expected interactive sessions to provide better results.
Is this proof that reactive training is better than taking a more proactive stance?
I do like the idea of trainees having to take a short, immediate, e-learning module straight after the event. That in itself seems to stress the importance of getting it right and I wonder if that is the secret?
