Introducing Fairlawn Initiative

default-16x9

The ICPD welcomes as a Fellow Heather Girling, Director of Fairlawn Initiative Limited. Heather is experienced and qualified in payroll, personnel and business management. She has had considerable responsibility for the training and development of staff at all levels and been involved in the implementation of systems in the support of business and staff objectives. Heather has an interest in analysing learning needs and closing the gap between business expectations and current personal performance.

Fairlawn Initiative is committed to the development of business through a number of management initiatives. The first is the development of clients' greatest assets, their staff. By working closely with clients Fairlawn provides a comprehensive service that offers a detailed and appropriate implementation of a staff development initiative. Fairlawn is also able to implement specific solutions in Information Technology, E-commerce and Payroll. Again working closely with companies and their staff, Fairlawn advisers provide an appropriate solution based on business needs. Areas of operation are:

· Training needs analysis
· Appraisals
· Recruitment
· Information technology
· Business Athlete
· Team dynamics
· E-Commerce
· Time management
· Stress management
· Change management
· Payroll

Fairlawn Initiative is in the process of being assessed under the Investors in People standard and all staff and associates are inducted in the values of the business and the pursuance of excellence and integrity. Fairlawn has a growing UK-wide network of associate trainers, consultants and coaches that it can call on to provide the high quality services that it is proud of. It strives to ensure that all associates employed are subject experts and best suited to the requirements of the client. It also offers to assist with business and personnel development by providing workshops, seminars coaching and training sessions.

Other ICPD Fellows and Members are welcome to provide details of their work for inclusion on this site. Submissions should be sent to the Institute’s Learning Consultant, Graham Guest.
