Is the Softworld HR exhibition a good netwroking opportunity?

How do you go about it? Do you hand your CV out to as many people as possible? Or is it all just a waste of time?

    I am of the view that Exhibitions do not offer many opportunities to network. At Softworld HR everyone is try to sell their software products. If you are looking for a job with one of the HR Software houses you might be able to find out from the stands who to contact in the company but I believe that there is little chance of networking with other HR professionals.
