ISO 2000 Worldwide Ltd are offering a product which will give companies, (of less than 20 employees), a cost effective route to accredited certification and hence, the opportunity to streamline their processes, improve their effectiveness and compete in new markets.

What does this mean? Below are details of the route to certification and what each phase entails.

The Certification Process

Phase 1 Gap Analysis

A review of existing client processes and provision of a Gap Analysis to identify shortfalls in the current system.

Phase 2 Internal Auditor Training

All participates will enrol on the audit course registered through the International Register of Certificated Auditors. This provides a formal training leading to qualification IRCA internal auditing registration. Training at this early stage provides client organisations with a resource able to monitor the effectiveness of their systems and work closely with the consultant/ trainer

Phase 3 Production of the Quality Manual

The consultant/trainer will produce quality manual in conjunction with the company. This will contain the commitment and policies of the organisation. There will be a framework document that links together the management processes and identifies responsibilities

Phase 4 Independent Audit Report of Quality Manual

On site visit by an independent certification body to confirm the appropriateness of the documented quality management system against the requirements of ISO 9000: 2000. An independent monitoring report is produced for the client and for submission to the fund holder

Phase 5 Implementation of the Quality Management System

Implementation phase of the project with the consultancy providing training on the eight management principals of the quality management standard and their application within an ISO 9000: 2000 management system.

This will involve establishing leadership approaches including the production of quality objectives and targets. A review of legal issues will also be undertaken to ensure client companies are meeting their legal obligations relating to product/service quality. Arrangements to confirm effective control of the business processes will be implemented and include, as necessary, any measures of performance. A review of resource and competency will be undertaken to establish the knowledge base with which the organisation must work. Effective monitoring arrangements will be introduced to ensure processes are sustainable.

Phase 6 Independent Audit Report of Effective Implementation

An on-site visit by an independent certification body to confirm the implementation of the quality management system against the requirements of ISO 9000:2000. An independent monitoring report is produced for the client and for submission to the fund holder

Phase 7 Certification to ISO9001

Issue of an accredited certificate of registration to the client after independent verification of the monitoring/assessment report.

Phase 8 Monitoring Visit

Six months after Phase 7, the certification body will perform a further site visit to confirm any actions, that needed to take place, have been implemented and the continued sustainability of the quality management systems.
