I am working on a project which involves developing 2 IT competency frameworks (End User and IT Professional)for a web based self-assessment tool. I need to establish the appropriate content (ECDL? SFIA?) and to source content experts who can write the assessment statements for me.

Competency statements
Have you checked out the information available from the Institute of IT training on wwww.iitt.org.uk or checked out what is already available from awarding bodies such as OCR? I think you’ll find a lot of helpful material has already available been produced that will make your job a lot easier. I think you might also find some information via learndirect as well as the sfia.
