If you know someone who has achieved something special through using technology to teach, the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency would like to know!
They're on the lookout for nominations for the 2004 ICT in practice awards, which are made to school and college tutors, leaders and teachers who can demonstrate "excellence in using computers and the internet for teaching purposes or management". Winners of the awards will receive a prize of £2,500, with an additional £2,500 going to their school or college. The awards aim to "identify models of excellent practice and use these to develop and promote effective practice in the use of ICT in teaching, learning and leadership."
If you would like to make a nomination, e-mail practiceawards@becta.org.uk or see www.becta.org.uk - nominations must be received by 25th July 2003.
