While research in North America is predicting a drop in salaries IT staff, salaries in the UK are expected to be maintained as the country struggles to fill vacancies.

In response to the skills shortage, the government has launched the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) which provides standard job descriptions for employers and recruiters.
