Editor's Note
=============
As this year gains momentum, the uncontainable world of IT is
expanding and changing at an even faster pace. As trainers, we
know our readers will not dispute; free time is usually a rare
commodity. TrainingZONE's IT Trainers Newswire assists in
listing news, information and resources relative to IT training
needs. Readers can check the list and prioritise the most
significant articles peculiar to their specific requirements.
This week was the HRD 2001 Show at Olympia 3-5 April, which
proved to be highly popular judging by the amount of people
visiting. The very strong message gained from the amount of
stands devoted to the subject, is that e-learning is finally
going from strength to strength, that it is here to stay.
Undoubtedly, many of our readers will have visited the show, and
we hope you were able to drop by our stand to say hello. If you
have any views or thoughts about the show, or any other subject,
please share them with other trainers by writing to the IT
Editor, Kathleen Hopper, who would love to hear from you.
Also of significance this month, TrainingZONE has a copy of
Microsoft's New Office Professional Corporate Preview Beta, which
we are testing and evaluating. Look out for news of reviews in
the very near future.

Looking at training credentials
-------------------------------
In this article TrainingZONE's IT training editor, Kathleen
Hopper looks at ways in which IT trainers can gain Microsoft
Office User Specialist Accreditation (MOUS). Many IT trainers
will already have recognised training credentials, however, as
facilitators of learning, they will acknowledge their own need
for ongoing learning and refreshing their skills.
