Aside from increasing their skills and knowledge, many IT professionals benefit from an increase in salary after attending IT training, reports a new survey.

The online poll of 400 IT professionals attending IT training programmes finds that 34% received a pay rise as a result of completing their course, with higher earning IT professionals benefiting most - all those currently earning over £50k in the study received a pay increase.

Robert Chapman, co-founder at The Training Camp UK, who commissioned the research, said that employers were investing heavily in IT training: "Certification is practically the only way that companies can accurately measure a candidate’s true value."
