The Institute of IT Training has announced the shortlist for its 2008 awards.
Now in their 12th year, the awards aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence across the IT Training industry.
The Colin Corder Lifetime Achievement Award, will also be presented to the person who is judged to have made a significant and lasting contribution to the IT Training industry. The awards are held in London on 7 February.
Colin Steed, chief executive of the Institute of IT Training, said: "Many of the submissions received this year were of a particularly high standard making the judging process a very exciting prospect for those involved. Again, we are looking forward to celebrating those companies and individuals that have proven to be the best in the industry."

The annual charity auction in aid of ChildLine will also take place at the awards evening. In 2007, enough money was raised to take the total contribution to just over £100,000.
