IT Training Proposal and associated issues

default-16x9

As an introduction, I'm an IT professional, with over 15 years experience, predominantly contracting (via agencies, through my own Ltd. Company) in a support role within Microsoft environments.

I’m also have my CIPD Certificate in Training practice, and wish to expand into IT Training & Soft skill (Personal Development ect.).

I've previously (6 month ago) drafted a proposal for a local Resourcing agency, with regards to developing and running a training program initially for Young people and over 50's, in the evenings. (Operating system environment, MS Office products etc.)

In my proposal, I've advised each session will last approx 1.5 hours, course outline for each topic, rate per hour, restrictions. My questions are as follows:-

1. Has any come from the same background, and looking or currently doing what I am proposing.

2. With regards to Rate, should I charge per hour, or for each session, or a whole package, not sure how long they wish to run these sessions.

3. With regards to documentation (handouts, possible workbook), we need to discuss again if they what me to produce the initially, copy and then they will duplicate. But should I price the creation of documentation separately.

Also how would you propose payment, invoice weekly (may do 1 or 2 sessions per week.

Any ideas on proposals will be helpful, for any on interested I will gladly email what I have as a template proposal.

I'm aware there is a lot of information, here; I know some of these topic may have been covered previously in some form, but would be grateful for any responses.

Best regards

Allan.
