‘It’s a Relational World’: conference details

default-16x9

A conference being held in March will be taking a close look at the way relationships are built within the workplace.

The event, 'It's a Relational World', is being run by inter-logics, a consultancy which specialises in research into technologies in working methods within and between organisations. The conference will build on the current interest in the way that people, organisations and the 'outside world' communicate by looking at three strands of interest:

  • Organisational Learning and Knowledge Management
  • Public Services, Public Participation and Local Democracy
  • Economics, Commerce and Business

The event's organisers say: 'For three days in March, participants from three 'strands' of professional practice (Organisational Learning & Knowledge Management; Public Service & Local Democracy and Economics, Business & Commerce) will gather at the University of Warwick in the UK to focus on 'relational' approaches to inter-organisational and cross boundary working. Conference participants will actively explore the challenges and opportunities created by collaborating across boundaries in a wide range of organisational and community contexts and the conditions and methods that make it possible will be illustrated and discussed. Currently, participants from at least seven different countries will be present, promising a diverse, stimulating & provocative event.'

The conference takes place at the University of Warwick from 7-9 March, and fees (to include accomodation and attendance at the event) are £575 + VAT. Further details can be found at www.inter-logics.net/Conference.htm.
