Knowledge Management Seminar 20 September
We are holding a seminar at The Shakespeares Globe Theatre on the 20 Sept from 6.00 to 8.30 with 4 guest speakers from BP, Elf, Marconi and LMC. They will talk about their experiences of setting up a KM system. The delegates are by invitation only but should this be of interest then we would be delighted for you to attend.

Dear Nina, inter~logics.net ltd is working on strategies for creating, sharing and using knowledge in a number of organisations, including a major multi-national. This work involves considering six major factors that influence the success of a KM system, namely 1. Knowledge Management Strategy and Policies
2. Structures for Knowledge Management
3. Informating and the Exchange of Knowledge
4. Accounting for Knowledge
5. Climate for Creating, Sharing and Applying Knowledge
6. Scanning the Environment for Knowledge.
I developed an instrument that looks at where an organisation is on each of these 6 dimensions. There is also another one that looks at the skills involved in creating, sharing and using knowledge.
Our work focuses mainly on the underlying human principles and processes – including the distribution of power and knowledge throughout a diverse distributed community – that underpin knowledge management. We develop
software and then work in partnership with a major worldwide software company for large-scale implementation of related IT systems.
