Language Training

default-16x9

I am looking into the feasability of setting up some informal, in company language training. It is a mutlinational call centre environment with agents from accross Europe supporting the same. Does any one out there have experience of putting some internal language training into place?

Many Thanks

  1. Language conversation classes
In one company I put into place “evening” classes at the end of the day. Staff were able to register for the class regardless of business need. We scheduled them immediately after work so that people could still get home for dinner and had surprisingly few dropouts. In other instances, I have split the time, 50% in company time 50% in personal time and held sessions first thing, over lunch or at the end of the day (depending on preferences). For people with a reasonable level, a conversation session over lunch is useful. In addition I have arranged for language tapes, videos and CDs to be available on a library loan basis. Hope this helps. Jenny
