Does anyone have a leadership style questionnaire for inclusion in a 'leading your team' one day training course? It needs to be quick to complete, with a user-friendly scoring system.

Hi Colette,
have you considered going beyond a self-assessment and getting some 360 degree feedback prior to the course? You could repeat the 360 degree review 6 months later and test if leadership skills had been improved by each of your delegates. If you drop me your e-mail, I will forward you a simple questionnaire you could use prior to and post course.

Leadership style
Hi Colette – I have a useful leadership style questionnaire plus scenarios and explanations which help learners to work out the different styles and when they can be most effectively used. Let me have your e-mail address and I’ll forward them on. They’re in Word. I use them regularly with teams and supervisors.
Have you tried Peter Honey’s Q?
I have found his Behaviour range of Q’s very helpful – leading and developing teams is one. I have found a guy called Andrew Gibbons particularly helpful and he can put you in touch. He can be contacted through his website (which is well worth a visit anyway) http://WWW.andrewgibbons.co.uk
