Eight organisations from across England are celebrating their success after winning a regional learndirect company award.

The award recognises those businesses that have supported staff to undertake learndirect learning and who have recognised the part that learndirect can play in supporting business objectives.

Winners were chosen from over 1,750 nominations put forward, and winners will be representing their regions in the company award category at the national final at the Science Museum in London on 20 October.

The winners were:

• West Midlands: DK Packing and Case Making from Rugby


• East Midlands: Rutland Community Trust from Oakham


• East of England: Anglia Harvesters Manns from Bury St Edmunds


• North West: Merseytravel, the Merseyside Passenger Transport Authority and Executive, based in Liverpool


• North East: Colleen Todd from Morpeth, in Northumberland


• South West: Guideposts Trust from Gloucester


• South East: Four Paws Aqua from Portsmouth


• London: Three C’s Support
