In the period from its launch in February 1998 to the end of October, 361,000 people have called the Learning Direct support lines on 0800 100 900.
Figures for October reveal:
– 95% of callers were individuals
– 1% of callers were employers
– 55% of callers were female
– 48% of callers were employed
– 34% of callers were aged 26-35
