Larry was meeting up with Brian again, but this time at his office. He had just finished telling Brian how his meeting with the leadership team went and how he was meeting them tomorrow again to get information from them. Brian thought Larry had done well. Now Larry wanted to know how he should go about creating a learning strategy. He understood the importance of getting key information from the leadership team, but even then how would he go about collecting the information.
Brian decided to introduce Larry to how he created a learning strategy using two tools:
- The six strategy questions
- The learning strategy canvas
The six strategy questions Brian said, are six questions which he follows to both gather information and create his strategic plan, while the learning strategy canvas is a template to record and present information for a learning strategy. "So let me introduce you to both tools," said Brian. He stood up, grabbed a whiteboard pen and started to draw a table on a giant whiteboard.
