Have a look at…
Sharon,
One note of caution is that the references you make above are to the system as developed by Peter Honey and as such are copyrighted, and tightly controlled. Please bear this in mind when exploring options.
A previous question on the subject, along with some suggestions was featured a while ago and can be found at https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/cgi-bin/item.cgi?id=71470 . Peter Honey’s site can be found at http://www.peterhoneylearning.com/learning/ .
Learning styles
I don’t think Peter Honey has copyright over the concept that different people have different learning styles, though as the other contributor says, the Honey version is fiercely protected.
I don’t find Honey’s version terribly illuminating anyway, to be honest. We have been considering developing an online thing (based on non-copyright thinking about the issues) for a while, but it still on the “list of things to do”! If you would like to get in touch, I’d be happy to discuss it further.
On-line Learning Preferences – free pilot site
For a completely different approach you may be interested in some research we are doing into learning preferences based upon personality preferences. We have a trial pilot questionnaire up and running and if anyone is interested please email and I will send you more information.
The background is based on Individual Preferences in E-learning (see the Gower website)
Learning style across different cultures
I would like to find out if there are any similar questionnaire to the Honey & Mumford to be used for multicultural teams.
