Don't know if anybody can help but I've been 'volunteered' to deliver a set of lectures to non-hrm types on the principles of hrm. Now I know just enough to know what hrm stands for and that's got me so far! Has anybody got any notes or slides they might have used in the past to deliver this type of subject? I've got 100 people coming to listen next Tuesday and I'm having cold sweats already. Thanks for any help.

Quick Fix but usefull anyway
Hi Kevin, I have a superb article called ‘what do businesses want from the HR Function?’ I have added a few more bits to it and it will be very easy to turn it into a very professional presentation. Email me and I will send back the attachment.

HRD?
Kevin
What about a historical perspective, from ‘Personnel, to IR, to HR, to HRM, to HRD??
I think that might draw out what HRD has to offer senior managers, and why it is important??
Good luck!
