What is best practice in terms of legal issues when engaging coaches and trainers in other EU countries?
My company engages freelance trainers and coaches in multiple EU countries. We engage their services regularly as our end client has a regular demand. We ensure they are set up as freelancers or ltd companies who pay their own taxes in their respective countries. We have a generic contract we agree that covers the agreement.
Are there any other members who engage freelancers on regular contracts in the EU? Any tips or advice around contracts, payment etc would be most appreciated.

Hi, just a few thoughts, I hope they help:
Have you seen a copy of the consultants liability/indemnity insurance – is it current?
Have you read the terms and conditions on the consultants web site – how do they impact the potential contract?
How do you protect copyright and intellectual property?
In the event of a legal dispute which countries legal system will apply?
