7 year old Liam from Nottingham is in the same class as my daughter Elissa. He was diagnosed with leukaemia in February 2005. After 18 months of chemotherapy he relapsed in November 2006 and now the only cure for his condition is a bone marrow transplant. These are Liam's words to you:
'I need to get better so that I can go swimming and play football for Forest and I want to go out on my bike with Danny and Rory (brothers)'
If you are aged between 18-40 and in good health you can help by registering as a bone marrow donor at:
newdonor@anthonynolan.org.uk
I on the otherhand am too old for that so instead will be running the Robin Hood half marathon on September 16th to raise money for The Anthony Nolan Trust. If you want to help please visit my fund raising page:

My employer has undertaken to match contributions to a total of £500 so lets put that to the test!
Please help, no matter how small the donation it will be just as valuable.
Thanks for your support
