LIFE LESSONS: through the A-Z of running a marathon

default-16x9

Exercise is great for getting the mind working. Whilst running I started thinking about my training for the London Marathon and how the experiences I'm going through, can be converted into simple and valuable LIFE LESSONS.

Here's my A-Z of running a marathon: (and LIFE LESSONS)
A is for Attitude: Where it starts and ends - it's a choice

B is for Belief: If you believe; you can achieve anything

C is for Commitment: You get out what you put in

D is for Dream: Start dreaming and you'll quickly start moving towards those dreams

E is for Energy: Even when levels are low, you CAN conjure up that little bit more

F is for Fun: Enjoy it; otherwise do something else instead - it's that simple

G is for Goal: Like a Dream it focuses the mind and your action follows

H is for Help: We all need some from time to time, so seek out the 'expert's

I is for Inspiration: You've got bags of it inside; just let it out

J is for Joy: Share your joy with others, it really does rub off

K is for 'kick ass': Strange I know, but it's amazing what you can do when you're in 'kick ass' mood

L is for Little less conversation, little more action: Say no more, Elvis was right!

M is for mindset: The right frame of mind is crucial; the right focus helps you achieve the impossible

N is for Now: Don't put it off for another day

O is for One hundred percent (100%): Anything less and you won't reach that goal

P is for Plan: Small steps in the right direction will always carry you there

Q is for Quitters never win, and winners never quit: Miles Hilton-Barber is right!

R is for Rest: Take time out to est and reflect on progress

S is for Success: In whatever form that takes for you - celebrate it

T is for Time: Invest the time to gain the rewards

U is for Uniqueness: Run your own race and be you. Nobody does you better than you...

V is for Visualise: See it, hear it, feel it; Go and get it

W is for Will: Where there's a will, there's a way

X is for Xcel: When you believe you can, you will

Y is for You: It only works if it's for you

Z is for Zone: Be in the zone, be powerful and deliver the goods

So there you have it.
If you're wanting to run a marathon or you're just evaluating your life, keeping referring back to the A-Z.
