"The National Lifelong Learning Conference took place on the 5th and 6th of November, at the Holiday Inn, Rotherhithe, London. It was a very busy event with 10 speeches from the rostrum and 7 workshops. Over 200 people attended the conference.
Speakers included George Mudie, MP, the Minister for Lifelong Learning, Jacqui Henderson, the new Chief Executive of the TEC National Council, Dr. Anne Wright, Chief Executive of the University for Industry, Felicity Everiss, Head of the Individual Learning Division of the DfEE, Andy Powell, the Chief Executive of the National Training Organisation National Council, Professor Bob Fryer, Director, University of Southampton New College and Bill Lucas, Chief Executive of the Campaign for Learning. "
