  1. Personal safety
    Hi Liz,

I’ve done some personal safety for lone workers training in the past, but I suspect this is only a portion of what you are looking for.

If you are interested, I’ll try to dig out a course outline. If I can find it, where should I send it?

  2. One on One Training
Is this training that you are doing with one trainee? Bob Pike just re-released his book One on One Training which gives specific activities for openers, review/revisits, closers and more. You can get the book at http://www.BobPikeGroup.com. It’s not on Amazon.com yet. I was the editor for the book. There are older versions available on Amazon, but they cost just as much as the re-released copy. Same information, new cover.

  3. Lone workers
    Hi Liz,

Are you able to expand more on what you are looking for, trying to achive.

The company I work for, some 80% are classified as ‘lone workers’, all these people once thay have had the initial product training (2 weeks in the training/Customer demo room at head office, followed by 6 – 10 weeks on the job training) are then able to work by them selfs.
Some 2 years ago we intorduced a H & S ‘package’ via a e-learning provider, other then that these remote workers are in communication with everybody via the company e-mail system and latley the company wide intrnet, accessable remotley (this has on it all the neccessary company documentaiton, from policy’s, all documents relating to the company QA system, such as work intructions and all official forms, including the machine maintenance check sheets) we also have at head office a technicial help desk responcable for the issuing of any new maintenance instructions, technicial bullitines and the raising of reports when a machine (looked after by the lone worker) is out of production for more then 1 hour, this report is sent company wide so that all lone workers can not only be kept up to date with whats happening but also should they have a similar problem this can be resloved ‘qucikly’.

Hope this is of some help to you.
