Looking for health and safety training providers.

default-16x9

We are in the process of sourcing providers to offer training on several health and safety topics for our Crawley office location.

Each year we strive to focus on at least one specific topic a month regarding health and safety awareness / training. We typically utilize a combination of internal / external courses and instructors. Following are our tentative topics that we are submitting for 2006. Our courses typically run from a couple of hours to a full day.

Diabetes Awareness, Stress Recognition & Relief, Heart Health
Preventing Illness,
Nutrition (courses aimed at employees with specific conditions like Diabetes), First Aid, Ergonomics
Defensive Driving (not sure if this type of course is applicable in the UK), Holiday Safety, Mental Health, Work/Life Balance, Women's Health Issues, Men's Health Issues

Any input on local providers would be appreciated. Please feel free to email me...

  1. Good place to start
Try your local Chamber of Commerce, in my experience they usually provide really good value Health & Safety training and can point you in the direction of good value providers in the areas they don’t cover.
