Could anyone help me with some good exercises and case studies for a managing people through change course that I am designing? My creative mind has gone dead at the moment!
I'm looking for the managers to experience some of the problems that their staff experience when 'going' through change at work.
Thank you
Joanne

use their own experience
Hi Joanne
You could use their own experience. Ask them to think about some changes that have happened in their work/lives. (They could go back as far as starting school). How major was the change? How did it feel? How long did it take to adjust? What were some of the stages they went through?
They should also think about what helped and hindered the process.
It should highlight that we all deal with change similarly and differently and should also give them the opportunity to empathise with their staff
Good luck
Sue

I have a useful diagram
Hi Joanne
I have a really useful chart which I use in my stress management seminars, showing the various stages people go through when change occurs.
