Does anyone know anything about Matrix Management? I'd like to know if you use it, in what context, why you decided on it in the first place, how it works and what you think of it. I've googled this and there are many definitions and explanations, but they all seem quite theoretical - and what I'd really like to know is if and how it works in practice.
Would also be interested in any good, practical, value-for-money training on this.
My organisation is in the Care sector and has around 750 employees, all geographically spread and many of them casuals.
