  1. Mentoring support and tools
Have recently conducted doctoral research on the dynamics of mentoring relationships – looked at orgnisational mentoring but my tools are now being taken up by the educational sector and I have linked to an education based researcher and practitioner at the Uni of Bath and we are developing tools that can be licensed. Key unique offerings for example are tools to help mentor and mentee discuss personal values (because if they don’t and there is a clash or lack of sensitivity – the relationship will fail). Also look at how mentors can help mentees achieve learning at the level of insights (not just knowledge and skills).

    If interested do make contact – 0117 968 2299 – Richard Hale or e-mail

Some of my published articles can be accessed via my homepage at

http://wkweb5.cableinet.co.uk/rhale– these are at no cost of course and can be downloaded – tools and workshops do cost though!

  2. Mentoring
We have a scheme which will identify Personality Type and how to support the mentee and mentor. This has been developed in relationship to Learning Styles (Honey /Mumford, Kolb). The research shows a high correlation between the individual Learning Style and the Personality Type. For further information about the system go to
http://www.insightsworld.com and email me re. Learning Styles- drobinson@insightsworld.com

  3. Information resource
We’ll be happy to try to put you in touch with others who have implemented similar schemes. You may also find our website http://www.coachingnetwork.org.ukto be a useful source of information. The Coaching & Mentoring Network is a web-based resource dedicated to all aspects of mentoring and coaching. We’ll be happy to help you find people who can help (there are no charges for any introductions etc!)
