Workplace communications and office provider Regus is enabling employees to let off steam and take a break from the work treadmill in a newly-developed 'mind gym'.
The 'gym' is equipped with a range of facilities for staff to dip into during the day, either to relax or stimulate. The relaxation zone has automated massage beds, projections of calming images and soothing music. In contrast, the stimulation zone has padded walls and a punch bag, so the frustrated worker can channel aggression and let off steam. There is also a range of stimulating toys and games including a Sony Playstation.
The concept will be rolled out to other sites if it is successful at the site in Reading.

Have the employees been trained in the benefits of carrying out simple, on the spot, mind gym exercises in order to stimulate both hemispheres of the brain, boost creativity and alleviate stress? If you have team that would benefit from this just contact me. Laura Lindell at Accelerated Performance Training.
