So, as mobile learning month comes to a close it's time to reflect on what we've learned. I learn several new things every day courtesy of my mobile phone, but one of the general themes and sentiments that has come out of the editorial this month is that the device is merely the conduit. M-learning is seen as another step in learner engagement, and technology suppliers and theorists alike are coming at the subject with largely the same message: it's still about content. But this time, content is a key differentiator. It looks different, and engages the trainee in a different way. If you've missed anything in the last few days, you can find it all here.

The buzz continues for TrainingZone LIVE, and several features, op-ed pieces and the like will be coming your way in the coming days. We're all very excited, so keep your ears peeled. More on this here.

We look ahead to March aka coaching and mentoring month, which kicks off on Tuesday. As you know, the monthly themes are but a guide, a loosely thematic clothes horse upon which to hang various different topical garments. Or something. So anyway, instead of stretching the metaphor any further, all I meant was that not every article each month has to be about the monthly theme.

Maybe today's wayward writing style is due to the fact that I got hit by a car on Tuesday night. Maybe I've had some delayed reaction of shock to the whole traumatic experience that results in mixed metaphors and a garbled and incoherent writing style? I shouldn't really be so flippant: I'm very glad I was wearing a helmet and had lights on, even if the guy did still hit me. In the end, I was fine but my bike's knackered so it's back to the 35 minute walk.

It could have been a lot worse, and I'm very very thankful it wasn't, so I intend to have a good weekend in celebration of life in general.
