Educationalist, businesswoman and charity entrepreneur, Dr Ann Limb talks about her experiences working in both the private and public sectors.

After working in the public sector, Ann Limb describes her experience of working with a ‘bullying’ chairman in the private sector, and the clash that resulted. She speaks candidly about the fall-out and her feelings of failure that ensued.

An educationalist, businesswoman and charity entrepreneur, Dr Ann Limb was responsible for the implementation of the UK government's flagship elearning initiative learndirect and is the former group chief executive and main board director of the University for Industry (Ufi).
She has held public board appointments with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister; the Department of Culture, Media and Sport; and the British Council and works as a government adviser both in the UK and overseas.
She is also the chair of the National Extension College and the Helena Kennedy Foundation, the charity she founded to overcome social injustice by providing educational bursaries, mentoring and support to disadvantaged students.
