Mobile Learning Trends – Taking the leap forward

default-16x9

Mlearning courses are an excellent and exciting tool and way for ELearning developers. Mlearning is finally taking off and is also flourishing in new skills which are needed for bringing out the ELearning content for the mobile learners. The best usage of a particular smartphone is their support tool and the best appropriate names for the same can be termed as MSupport or Mresource rather than naming it to be Mlearning. In terms of support system, phones have turned out to be pretty decent as they can find and locate tools that can help to research something on the spot rather than waiting for an individual or computer to gain knowledge about the same as such.

ELearning mobile learning can be termed as the same terms as it follows the same trends and work mode qualities for the users. Sometimes an individual not necessarily to remember what was been searched or located which was the need on the hour, it can be recollected again. Mobile learning trends are taking a leap forward with its new emerging technologies and flourishing themselves in the market with new upgraded technologies. These days the term Mlearning has become very entrenched but it is believed that it is wrongly termed. But it is observed that mobile phone market is taking over and according to the statistical analysis, a whopping 91% of people own a mobile phone but the owners are not using their phones for ELearning courses. They are using the mobile phones as a distribution method.

If there is 100% increase in the usage of mobile phones, but the key phenomenon over here is that what is the usage percentage of mobiles for eLearning specifically?? Not more than 5% as such, rather it is used as a distribution strategy for delivering mobile learning solutions, there are several ways through which this could be done which includes of reducing the usage of mobile technologies to mimic what is done with the help of other technologies. This is considered to be done all the while because when ELearning first came out, it was like wanderlust for the users, something fast easy and magical.

Another trend that should be considered was to start paying attention as to how people actually like to use their mobile phones. What is the main purpose of using their mobile phones as such? The majority of the public uses their mobiles for playing games that actually help people learn something while they play a particular game or even videos that people would enjoy while learning a particular aspect as such. Another emerging opportunity is the creation of podcasts or audio books. Considering on how to nurture and enable people in order to use online social communities for ELearning and people are using this device for social interactions and helps them to become proficient with social tools. Let the people explore on their own rather than trying to figure out how the system works.
