The Inland Revenue has confirmed that it will be publishing its internal guidance for staff on IR35, according to the ICAEW Tax Faculty.
Under Labour’s Open Government initiative, the Revenue releases most of its internal guidance as part of the Inland Revenue Manuals series. These Manuals are available to all callers at Tax Enquiry Offices and can currently be purchased as part of a number of electronic publishing packages.
In addition the Manuals will be available live on the Revenue’s website from the Summer. The additional guidance notes on IR35 will form part of a new Employment Status Manual and should be available this Autumn.
