‘My partner doesn’t understand me’, now its official!

default-16x9

Does your wife, or husband or partner understand what you do at work? Does he or she share your concerns over the days events in the workplace? Well, No! At least not according to a new survey carried out for recruitment consultancy,Office Angels.

The Times has been reporting on the survey which found that nearly two-thirds of UK workers believe that their closest partner have little idea of how they spend their working day.

The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,500 office workers. It reveals that despite repeated attempts to explain their work, workers often believed that their partners still had little understanding of their function or role. The worst culprits were parents where 72 per cent were not believed to understand the workers function and role, friends followed at 61 per cent and partners at 45 per cent.

The Times report looks further into the issues of 'why' our partners don't understand us....or is it that we don't understand them???
