The National College for School Leadership Governing Council is to have a new chair in the form of Vanni Treves, chairman of the London Business School.
Mr Treves will take up the post at the beginning of September following the retirement of Richard Greenhalgh.
For 30 years Vanni Treves was a partner at city law firm Macfarlanes, specialising in corporate law and international transactions.
Along with his role at London Business School he is chair of Korn/Ferry International, The Equitable Life Assurance Society and Intertek Group Plc.
