The IPD's website is being re-organised to provide visitors with a more personalised service. All visitors to the site are being asked to register their details before they can access the site.

TrainingZONE has however encountered a few problems with this process, apparently due to a slow server at the IPD's end - the IPD say that the problem is due to the sheer number of people registering.

The registration process preceeds the relaunch of the new CIPD site on 3 July. The new address of the site will become www.cipd.co.uk, but visitors to www.ipd.co.uk will be automatically redirected. The new site will include extra features including a better search facility, enabling free word searches, and clearer section definitions.

Anyone registering on the site during the month of June will be entered into a draw to win a free place on an IPD training course from the popular 'Management Skills' range.
