New Occupational Exposure Limits from 31st December

New occupational exposure limits for substances that may be hazardous to health come into force on 31st December 2001. The HSC has approved an updated list, which will contain the maximum exposure limits (MEL) and occupational exposure standards (OES). The limits can be seen at The Health & Safety Executive and copies of “EH40/2002 - Occupational Exposure Limits 2002” will be available from HSE Books (01787 881165) from 1st January 2002.
