Tim Neill Associates (TNA) has delivered a suite of networked training programs to SITA Airport Services, Long Island, New York. The programs, developed in English, Spanish and Mandarin, are to be used by thousands of airline staff at airports around the world.

"The equipment used at check-in counters and departure gates" explains TNA managing director Tim Neill, "includes a wide variety of printers and card readers. Airline staff needed training on tasks such as removing a jammed document, replacing a print cartridge and basic fault finding."

The training programs cover basic operating and fault-finding procedures and include numerous video clips covering 30 different devices and various software simulations.

TNA handled the complete project, from design, graphics, programming and scripting to video editing, language translation and studio recording.

Adds Neill "This is a great example of delivering very specific instruction and reference in the workplace - it really is 'just in time' training".

Since 1993, TNA has designed and produced 14 interactive technical training programs for the SITA Communications Group in London, Nice and New York.
