The deadline is looming to get nominations in for the first annual Star Awards.
Entries for the awards, which aim to recognise excellence in the 600,000-strong learning and skills sector, must be in by midnight on April 30.
Nominations are called for in three broad categories:
* Lecturers, tutors and trainers.
* Leaders and managers.
* Support staff.
Once received, entries will then be sorted into around fourteen final prize categories.
The STAR Judging Panel will shortlist ten nominees in each prize category in June 2004 with all of them invited to attend the Star Awards Ceremony in London in October 2004.
Winners will receive a £1,000, a trophy and certificate.
