1. NVQ in marketing
   Peter the best place to start would be the chartered institute of Marketing

   there are nvqs available in this area though imagine the institute will push you to register your client as a member.

2. Edexcel
   I would also go and look through the Edexcel Partner Page for suitable alternatives at https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/partnerpages/partners/edexcel/

   the full contact details can be found there, and I am sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

3. ILM? CAM?
   You could have a look at the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). Their “first line management” qualification is NVQ linked, e.g. Module C3.8 Marketing

   The CAM “Marketing” module might be suitable, and there are five other modules if the person wants to go further.

   CAM is now part of CIM, though they don’t seem to shout about it much.
