Eighteen months ago, there were only a limited number of listings services where you could search for training courses and events - and hardly anything online. The most well-known name was the subscription-based National Training Index.
Today, the situation has completely changed. The TrainingDecisions.com website appears to be pretty out of date although it is still live. This month the longer established TrainingDirectory.com website has been taken down although a message on the site says it is undergoing construction again. At the time of writing, we're not clear who currently owns it.
Meanwhile new companies have launched into this ecommerce marketplace for training courses including Skillvest, Bookacourse and WorldofTraining.
Meanwhile the National Training Index has been sold to THINQ (formerly TrainingNet) to become part of an extensive global directory of training courses, events and materials.
TrainingZONE has chosen to partner with THINQ as part of our fast expanding campus offering facilities for users to list, update, promote and search for training courses.
