I am currently working as a researcher for handbag.com (a website targeted at UK women’s lifestyle interests). handbag.com are looking to offer online tests to their existing 500,000 users in the areas of personality, relationships, health & well-being and careers. As well as the tests being valid and reliable (for example, MBTI for personality), the results need to be ‘accessible’, that is, written in a personal and positive tone.
I would welcome feedback regarding the availability of existing online tests or from any individuals or organisations interested in developing such tests in partnership with handbag.com.
With kind regards
Jackie Rigby

BBC?
There is a variety of quite nice interactive stuff on the BBC site about health, first aid, and possibly some of the other things you mention. It may help with ideas, at least.
We are a small publishing company mainly with an interest in business training materials and content, especially online delivery, although we have done some more ‘frivolous’ stuff. You will no doubt get lots of answers from others!
Here are some web resources:

I think the validity of many of these tests is probably near zero.

There’s nothing that I know of that is ‘on line in nature’. I use MBTI but that’s paper based. On line questionnaires are not my speciality – sorry.

Subject: Test validity

Thanks for responding to my Training Zone request. I agree with you with
regards to validity – I have looked at various tests on emode and have only
found one or two that I would consider. I will look at the other websites
this afternoon.
In the first instance I am going to concentrate on personality and relationships
– I was just wondering whether there is anything in these areas specifically
that springs to mind that could be useful to me.
Thanks for your help
