Tuesday 27 February 2001, 13:00 - 13:45 GMT

Teambuilding is a much discussed topic, and often touted as the sure-fire 'quick fix' way to get team members working effectively and productively together. But does sending a group of disparate individuals off to spend a day or two working on a series of apparently unrelated tasks really help to focus their attention? We'll be trying to define what makes for a successful teambuilding session, examining what part self-assessment tests such as Belbin can really play in helping team members self-awareness and looking at how trainers can take account of current thinking to keep sessions fresh and interesting for clients.

As always, your views and experiences are most welcome. This session is free-of-charge to attend and can be accessed at
