TrainingZONE Online Workshop
HRD 2001 workshops
Tuesday 3 April 2001, 13:00 - 13:45 BST and 15:00-15:45 BST
This Tuesday is the first day of the HRD 2001 exhibition and conference at Olympia. To mark the occasion, we'll be bringing you not one, but two workshops live from the event. Our guest facilitators from the Institute of Supervision and Management and eLearnity will be hosting two topical sessions during the day:
13:00-13:45 BST
George Edwards, Development Director, ISM will be looking at the theme of "training or learning - expectations and realities". With more and more companies providing "access to learning", rather than standard training courses, including "learning from the job", we ask, who gets
what out of this arrangement? The session will explore the growth in self-managed learning and its implications for learners, Training Managers and training budgets.
15:00-15:45 BST
This week TrainingZONE launches E-learningZone, a new area dedicated to providing independent advice and resources for navigating the confusing amount of information currently out there on the topic. This afternoon session, facilitated by David Wilson, MD of eLearnity, who are co-hosting the area, will take a look at what's planned for E-learningZone and also take a more general overview of what's happening in the marketplace at the moment.
Both sessions are free-of-charge to attend - simply go to https://www.trainingzone.co.uk/workshop at the times shown.
